Job description

Lead, develop, and coach the Procurement team, fostering a structure where independent work is important
Act as the main point of contact from Procurement in the ongoing SAP implementation project – from requirements gathering through process design (Purchase-to-Pay) to testing, data migration, and go-live
Optimize the internal supply chain for spare parts to stations – from assortment and suppliers to inventory, minimum stock levels, and distribution logic to supply Maintenance & Repair teams on site
Define and standardize procurement processes, policies, and approval workflows, and transfer them into the new system
Responsible for supplier selection, evaluation, and development as well as contract and terms management
Lead negotiations for strategically important commodity groups and achieve measurable savings
Work closely with Finance, Fleet, Operations, Legal, and IT, representing the procurement perspective in cross-functional projects
Drive the use of AI and automation in procurement (e.g., n8n workflows, AI-supported evaluations) to make processes more efficient and relieve the team of routine work
Build procurement KPIs and manage procurement data-driven (e.g., savings, delivery reliability, and process lead times)

Several years of professional experience in strategic or operational procurement, including demonstrable experience in leading a team
Very good German and English skills
Practical experience with SAP (e.g., MM / Ariba) OR demonstrable experience in implementing an ERP system – ideally both
Deep understanding of end-to-end procurement processes (Purchase-to-Pay) and the ability to standardize and digitalize them
