Job description
Key details
- Lead implementation projects around product information and the systems in which it is created and used, for large corporations as well as mid-sized companies
- Guide departments through requirements gathering, testing, and migration, and align project work with their day-to-day business
- Manage vendors at the level of deliverables, prepare committee decisions, and present them together with the client
- Act as the client's point of contact for planning, progress, and project control
- Shape the technical solution—concept, data architecture, semantics—together with senior consultants
- Work on replacing editorial systems and documentation toolchains and connecting them to PLM and SAP in technical documentation
- Work on introducing requirements and change management on platforms such as Codebeamer and linking them with PLM in ALM and requirements management
- Contribute to orientation and decision projects, reviewing system landscapes, evaluating vendors, and planning the path to implementation

Requirements & details
- Six to ten years of professional experience, including at least three as a project manager in implementation or replacement projects with interfaces to departments and vendors
- Experience in a corporate environment with steering committees or comparable bodies
- Solid knowledge in at least one of these areas and understanding of adjacent ones: PLM (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill), technical documentation (e.g., SCHEMA ST4, Arbortext, Docufy, DITA), ALM and requirements management (e.g., Codebeamer, Polarion, DOORS, Jama), or SAP
- Confidence in work package planning, risk management, acceptance, and vendor management
- German at a negotiable level, good English, willingness to travel to clients
- Degree in business informatics, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Experience in project management on the vendor or partner side is as valuable as consulting experience
