Job description
Key details
- Develop and microfabricate flexible miniaturized organic photodetectors (OPDs) for high-resolution multipixel arrays
- Develop flexible readout electronics based on field-effect transistors (FETs) to amplify and measure very low photocurrents generated by OPDs
- Study physical limits related to photodetector miniaturization and establish design rules by analyzing dark current, noise, detectivity, and dynamic range
- Perform electrical and optical characterization of the OPD–FET platform under illumination conditions representative of calcium imaging
- Analyze device performance to optimize integration into high-density flexible arrays for neuronal imaging
- Disseminate work through scientific publications and international communications
- Work autonomously in an interdisciplinary environment
