Job description

Own the risk function across CFD and Futures, reporting directly to the FundedNext CEO
Stabilise the book by reducing payout ratio variance and translating trader behaviour data into product-rule decisions
Conduct an end-to-end gap analysis of the existing risk framework within the first 90 days and design a risk operating model fit for scale through 2028
Lead Crypto risk readiness by designing risk policies, surveillance models, drawdown rules, and operational guardrails for the upcoming Crypto programme
Strengthen detection and response to multi-account abuse, identity fraud, and toxic trading patterns
Partner with Engineering, Data, Compliance, Customer Operations, Product, and Trading leaders to build scalable abuse-prevention capability
Influence and, where required, veto decisions that materially shift the firm's risk profile

8–12 years of risk experience across prop trading, CFD brokerage, or multi-asset financial services
Multi-asset fluency in CFD, Futures, and ideally Crypto economics, instruments, and abuse patterns
Track record of building or rebuilding a risk function, including frameworks, policies, surveillance tooling, and team
Hands-on credibility on B-book and dealing operations with personal exposure to payout ratio management at scale
Strong cross-functional influence with Product, Engineering, and Trading leaders
Comfort with ambiguity and ability to bring clarity to an under-defined function
Excellent communication with traders, CEO, and future board
Personal experience navigating a payout-ratio crisis is a differentiator
