Executive Director, Lifecycle Leader

Key details

• Shape the program's cross-functional vision, strategic context, and lifecycle plan (LCP) for current and future business opportunities
• Partner with the Program Manager and leadership/SMEs to build internal ways of working that enable data-driven recommendations, decision making, and communication
• Serve as the single point of accountability in a cross-functional team, ensuring timely delivery and managing the execution plan and milestones in alignment with the approved LCP
• Oversee integration across Iovance involving multiple stakeholders to ensure optimal program execution in line with program strategy and LCP
• Collaborate with functional team leaders to foster alignment across sub-teams (Commercial, Development, Regulatory, etc.) to achieve team and corporate goals
• Facilitate clear decision-making by incorporating cross-functional input to address high-impact issues and co-create solutions to complex challenges in real time
• Lead the team in framing program needs and develop options and recommendations for presentation to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
• Ensure transparent communication with senior leadership, highlighting scenarios, assumptions, and risks to inform decision-making and trade-offs
• Represent the enterprise mindset and ensure all relevant functional perspectives are considered
• Ensure inclusion of subject matter experts (SMEs) and situational members in discussions, guided by a predefined agenda set with the Program Manager
• Be accountable to the ELT for program recommendations, framing them within the broader portfolio context
• Manage day-to-day program operations to ensure high-impact deliverables remain on track and aligned with program strategy
• Ensure team health by creating a highly functional environment with collaborative ways of working where debate and honest feedback are encouraged
• Identify and mitigate risks, and ensure financial stewardship of the program
