Job description

Report directly to the Managing Partner and manage all non-technical operational areas
Develop operational steering structures, especially in controlling, quality management, risk, resource planning, and operational processes
Lead Finance & Controlling, using KPIs, forecasts, and reports for company management
Establish reliable order, capacity, and personnel planning to align resources with mandates
Create clear steering rhythms, KPI rounds, and decision processes, ensuring agreed measures are implemented
Oversee back office, administration, and facility management
Lead HR and Marketing closely and support their leads in professional development
Develop modern digital processes together with the Chief Digital & AI Officer, owning requirements, standards, KPIs, rollout, and implementation
Ensure clear responsibilities, functioning interfaces, and high process discipline without unnecessary bureaucracy
Work closely with partners and translate company goals into concrete operational decisions

Proven leadership experience in professional services, a law firm, auditing, consulting, or a comparable partner-led environment
Experience building or significantly developing operational functions and steering systems, not just administering them
Strong commercial and financial competence to lead controlling, reporting, and corporate management
Experience professionally scaling organizations and creating structures that work under increasing complexity
Hands-on in process design, comfortable with data, systems, and automation, and sees digitalization as part of good operations
Ability to work on equal footing with confident partners and executives, assert clear positions, and consistently implement decisions
Leadership with clarity and pragmatism: high standards in substance, respectful and reliable in interaction
Entrepreneurial, independent, and solution-oriented, without needing detailed guidance
A tax advisor or auditor exam is not required; decisive is experience as a professional operator and ability to structurally and operationally develop a demanding professional services organization
