Job description

Leverage front-office fixed income e-trading experience to help shape trader-facing tools and features
Work with Product and Engineering to turn trading workflows and business problems into clear requirements and deliverable software
Explore workflows including RFQ, pricing, price contribution, venue connectivity, auto-negotiation, hedging, and execution
Identify edge cases, challenge assumptions, and help the team make practical product decisions
Follow features from discovery through development and validation to make sure they solve the intended problem

We provide a low-latency, high-throughput distributed messaging system for e-trading fixed income markets, serving as a technology service provider supporting part of our customers' trading infrastructure

Substantial experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within a bank, working closely and regularly with one or more trading desks market-making fixed income products electronically
Experience gathering traders' requirements, working with designers and developers to build UI and API solutions
Know at least one relevant product area in depth, such as Bonds (rates and/or credit) and Interest Rate Swaps
Understand electronic trading workflows, including RFQ, D2C and D2D trading, pricing, venues, and venue connectivity
Familiar with trading tools and workflows such as auto-negotiation, hedging, and price contribution
Comfortable working with developers and able to reason through basic logic, algorithms, and pseudocode; no developer background required
Bonus: knowledge across more than one fixed income product or asset class
