Job description

Ensure customers get the best out of Checkly and become an expert on Checkly and the Monitoring space
Drive the Monitoring as Code revolution and solve real customer problems
Work with valuable customers across pre- and post-sales stages
Assist prospects with the technical evaluation of Checkly, from first demo to successful implementation, and own this process
Speak with customers directly and share learnings with Product and Engineering to help shape Checkly
Continuously improve technical documentation, processes, and policies
Participate in Customer Support during onboarding and chip in when needed thereafter

Core technologies

Node.js

Strong technical skills to read, write, and debug code (Javascript/Node.js preferred)
5+ years experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Customer Solutions, or Forward Deployed Engineer role
Experience working in dev-tools SaaS companies; observability, monitoring, or testing background preferred but not required
Ability to use AI tools to accelerate customer-facing work (e.g., researching prospect environments, generating tailored demo code, building proof-of-concept repos)
Autonomous and self-motivated in a remote-first work environment
Exceptional empathy and curiosity
Proactive and ownership-oriented mindset
Excellent spoken and written English skills
Compensation: 70% base salary - 30% commission split; €115k-€140k OTE for similar cost of market as Spain, Poland, Portugal etc.; €127k-€150k for similar cost of market as UK, Germany etc
