Job description

Support technical sales conversations by joining customer and partner calls, helping with technical discovery, answering product questions, and explaining how Brave Search API can fit into different products and AI workflows
Run demos and build proof-of-concepts, including demos, small apps, notebooks, and examples showing how to use Brave Search API for search, RAG, LLM apps, agents, and other customer use cases
Help customers get started as they move from first API call to a working integration, identifying blockers and helping remove them
Improve sales and onboarding materials by creating and maintaining technical guides, demo scripts, sample code, integration notes, FAQs, and comparison materials
Work with Product and Engineering by bringing back clear customer feedback, including missing features, confusing docs, common implementation issues, pricing questions, and competitive gaps
Improve the developer experience by making docs, examples, API onboarding, and setup flow easier to use
Support integrations so Brave shows up well in tools AI developers already use, such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Vercel AI SDK, and similar frameworks
Support launches with Product Marketing by providing technical pieces such as demos, docs, examples, and clear explanations of what changed

Technical sales experience working with prospects, customers, partners, or technical buyers
Hands-on technical ability to read and write basic Python or JavaScript, test an API with cURL or Postman, and build simple examples without engineer support
AI and search knowledge including RAG, LLMs, agents, context windows, search APIs, and the difference between lexical and semantic search
Developer credibility and understanding of what makes APIs frustrating to use, including docs, rate limits, examples, error messages, and time to first successful API call
Clear communication skills to explain technical ideas in plain language and write docs, customer notes, demo scripts, and short technical explainers
Good internal follow-through to turn customer feedback into useful input for Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing
Bonus: experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, developer platforms, API products, search infrastructure, AI tools, or data products
