Requirements & details
- 7+ years building and shipping production systems, full stack
- A track record of owning problems end-to-end, not just executing tickets, but defining and delivering
- Strong instincts across the stack: comfortable going deep on backend logic, database design, and frontend UX in the same sprint
- Fluency with relational databases and search fundamentals
- A hands-on, daily relationship with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.)
- Experience at a fast-moving startup or SaaS company
- Familiarity with distributed systems concepts: queues, event-driven architecture, horizontal scaling
- Exposure to our current stack (Elixir/Phoenix, React, PostgreSQL), or genuine curiosity to pick it up fast
- A genuine interest in helping teammates grow
