Job description

Design and build software applications across the company, including customer platform, contract and asset management, financial workflows, and internal tooling
Own the roadmap, trade-offs, and results for software architecture and product development
Produce code agentically, review it, and maintain the stack to a high standard
Lead the AI lab: identify opportunities for language models and automation, build prototypes, deliver to production, and monitor quality, cost, and compliance
Integrate the platform with banking and payment partners, e-signature, credit data, and accounting systems, ensuring reliable connections
Treat data protection, auditability, and regulatory requirements as guidance from day one
Present options and decisions directly to management

Built software that is in production and used daily, and carried architecture of at least one such system from design through operation
Shipped AI features beyond a demo: integrating language models or ML into a real workflow, with evaluation, monitoring, and a cost model
Broad technical understanding across backend, data, web frontend, and cloud infrastructure, with readiness to own architecture decisions
Ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical owners in plain language and make a convincing case
Fluent English or German
Based in or willing to relocate to Munich
Helpful, not required: Experience in a regulated or financial environment (leasing, banking, payments, insurance)
