Job description

Lead and organize the financial accounting function, managing the team both professionally and organizationally
Own monthly and annual financial statements under HGB, plausibilize closing positions and developments, and ensure traceable documentation
Coordinate collaboration with auditors, tax advisors, and other external contacts, clarifying accounting matters in alignment with the Head of Finance
Further develop management reporting and accounting-related analyses, investigate plan-actual variances, cash flow and earnings developments, and prepare decision bases for management
Establish and monitor accounting, documentation, and internal policies as well as measures for sustainable quality assurance and error prevention
Lead a key initial project: selecting and implementing a new financial accounting/ERP solution to standardize and automate recurring processes

Very good HGB knowledge and solid experience in financial accounting, closing processes, and plausibilization and analysis of closing positions
Confident use of ERP/financial accounting systems and Excel; ideally experience in analysis and modeling of financial data
Structured, independent, reliable, and discreet working style with high affinity for numbers and quality, making professional assessments even in complex matters
Clear, target-group-oriented communication of complex content with management, internal interfaces, auditors, and external advisors; good English skills round off the profile
