Requirements & details
- Demonstrated experience transitioning a company from cash basis to accrual accounting, recently and specifically
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite; migration or implementation experience strongly preferred
- Experience working directly with an external audit firm on audit preparation and execution
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a Controller or senior accounting role
- CPA designation (or local equivalent) strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP
- Strong preference: prior experience at a Big 4 firm (Deloitte, PwC, Ernst & Young, or KPMG) in audit or tax — Philippines, Latin America, or Eastern Europe specifically
- Experience in e-commerce, DTC, or consumer products; multi-channel revenue recognition is a plus
- Prior experience migrating from QuickBooks Online to an ERP system
- Builder mindset, clear communication with non-finance stakeholders, and accountability
